The Pre Hispanic Population Of The Santa Marta Bays

A report on the regional archaeological research carried out in the Bahías de Santa Marta of the Parque Tairona, Department of Magdalena. The sequence includes more than 1500 years of prehispanic history, split into three occupations. Environment, settlement patterns, and demographic history are addressed, and a chronological analysis of ceramic types from stratigraphic excavations is presented.
