The main objectives of this study are: to establish an architectural sequence for the Ah Canual group of sites, to analyse the typological schemes used, the techniques of construction and the material evidence – lithics, shell, epigraphy, iconography, funerary remains – and to put this into context with other nearby sites, tracing trends and developments over time.
